in Kindergarten will begin checking out library books in the second
semester. Students in first grade are allowed to check out one book each
week. Students in grades second through fourth are allowed to check out
two books per week. Each book is checked out for one week. If the
student is not finished with the book, they may bring it back and have
it renewed for an additional week. All students must finish both books
before coming back to the library. Some exceptions to this rule are in
place and will be handled by Mrs. Roland or the classroom teacher. If a
book is lost or damaged, the student is responsible for paying to have
the book replaced. Mrs. Roland will suspend library privileges for any
student who has a severely overdue book or an existing library balance.
If a lost book is found before the end of the school year and is
returned in good condition, a refund will be given to the student.
