Mrs. Vicky Parr - Principal

Mrs. Parr worked as Assistant Principal at Ney Elementary from 2003 to 2009. She returned to Ney as Principal in 2015. Prior to becoming principal, Mrs. Parr served BISD as the Dean of Instruction at Brazoswood High School and as a principal in South Carolina with the Department of Defense. Altogether Mrs. Parr has over 12 years of Administrative experience and seven years experience teaching third grade.

Parr earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and her Master’s Degree in Educational Management both from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She and her husband, Randy, have three children – James, Sam and Hannah. Mrs. Parr is delighted to be leading Ney.

Christine Strickler - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Strickler has been in education for over 10 years.  She came to BISD for the 2015-12016 school year from Hutto ISD.  In Hutto, she taught 4th grade, 5th grade, and all levels of high school math as a special education teacher.  She was also a math intervention teacher and an instructional specialist.  Most recently, Mrs. Strickler was the high school math teacher at BISD's Lighthouse Learning Center in Clute.

Mrs. Strickler earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies-Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach and Master of Science in Education Leadership from Western Governors University.  She and her husband, Chris, have six children- Shaylene, Kaileigh, Rhiannon, Christopher Jr., Joshua and Jacob.

Mrs Strickler is grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve in her community as the assistant principal of Elisabet Ney Elementary.
